Referendum

A Referendum regarding the adoption of a new Students’ Union Constitution, which has been called by Union Council, will take place from Thursday 2nd April and will run until Thursday 7th May 2020

Are you in favour of the adoption of the proposed CIT Students' Union Constitution?

SU members will be asked to cast your vote online. There will be two options – Yes or No.  You will be asked to cliick on your selection.

Details of Voting for the Constitutional Referendum - April/May 2020

Who can vote?

All members of the Students’ Union as set down in article 3.1 of the Constitution of the Students’ Union are eligible to vote in the Students' Union Elections

How and when do I cast my vote?

Voting for the Referendum will take place online.  We look forward to a great turnout.

The polling will open on Thursday 2nd April 2020 and willl close on Thursday 7th May 2020 at 5pm sharp.

Voting Step by Step:

  • Use your Student ID number to access the voting screen (tip: use capital R when entering your ID number)
  • Enter your mycit.ie email address (this is the only acceptable email address - CASE SENSITIVE)
  • Cast your vote in the SU Constitutional Referendum by clicking on Yes or No
  • Click this link to vote
