Answer

What services does the Students’ Union offer?

These are numerous.

Ø      Representation

The Students’ Union represent students view on every board and at every level institutionally. We fight for students’ rights, ensure that no decision is taken that will disadvantage students and ensure that the college put the student first at every given opportunity

Ø      Cost Price Shop

The Students’        Union run a shop upstairs in the Student Centre that sells all CD Disks, stationary, log books, calculators, USB Keys, etc. at cost price. This is far cheaper than the other shops on campus

Ø      Class Hoodies

The Students’ Union place bulk orders for hoodies for classes. Minimum order is 10 hoodies and these again are sold at cost price. These can be customised with logos, class names, individual student names, etc.

Ø      Second Hand Book Drive

Each year we help students buy and sell books. Students wishing to sell books drop them into our office with their desired price, and then students coming looking for books can have them for the requested price. The Students’ Union makes no money out of this, but is completely reliant on the number of students wishing to sell books.
