Answer

Detailed information regarding setting up wireless internet is available from http://its.cit.ie/index.cfm/page/samplesubpage

Students are required to register the MAC address of their laptop/wireless devices on the IT Services website http://its.cit.ie to enable the service. You will also need to accept the CIT Acceptable Usage Policy. Remember, all internet activity will be logged by the college and you will be held ACCOUNTABLE FOR ALL USAGE completed under your username.

To login to http://its.cit.ie you will need your active directory login and password, which is normally your Student ID and password. Your Active Directory login is normally used to use other services such as Blackboard eLearning and Open Access login. This is NOT your MyCIT username and password.

If you have difficulties in registering or do not know your login details, please call the to help desk in Open Access.
