Before appealing a result you should speak to your lecturer, most problems with results can be cleared up without having to go through the whole appeals process. You should also apply to view to your script this can often clear up any problems as most successful appeals are a result of a numerical errors.

Why should I view my script?

The benefit of viewing your script is that the change to any numerical errors is instantaneous while a wait of up to 4 months can be expected to have an appeal heard.
